Three days of intense, varied and interesting initiatives, from 14 to 16 May 2021, will recall the co-founder of the historic "Moto dell'Aquila", Giorgio Parodi, in the year of the Centenary of his foundation, which took place in Genoa on 15 March 1921. The city where the company's registered office has been for many years.

To organize the important event are the founder's granddaughter, Elena Bagnasco, President of Giorgio Parodi Association and godmother of the event, in collaboration with the Aeroclub of Genoa, of which Parodi himself, along with others, was the founder.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Genoa, will be added to the traditional September appointment of Mandello del Lario, where the historic factory is still located today, a “pilgrimage” destination for thousands of two-wheel enthusiasts.

The event, held between 14 and 16 May 2021 in the Porto Antico area, includes, among the numerous initiatives, an event sponsored by the Moto Guzzi World Club called Moto Guzzi World with the presence of Guzzisti enthusiasts coming not only from Italy; always with the Moto Guzzi World Club organization, an edition of the "100 year Raid" with the arrival in Genoa of motorcycle riders from different countries, all in the sign of the Eagle and a "special edition" of a Genoese Pesto competition, organized by Palatifini Cultural Association. Genoa Pesto World Championship has been, in fact, for years now the ambassador of the tradition of Genoese pesto and Genoese tradition in the world.

The event will also have a beneficial purpose. In fact, there will be a fundraiser for the Giannina Gaslini Institute in Genoa, to be allocated to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Pavilion.

The initiative aims to promote the binomial Giorgio Parodi, a leading figure in the panorama of Italian aviation and of exemplary and industrious Ligurian spirit and Genoa to which Parodi has given prestige.
