Saturday 26th April

Thanks to everyone who attended the first Breakfast Meet of 2025. There were 20 Moto Guzzis and 1 Indian. We didn't manage to photograph all of the models because some people arrived after we had left, or they didn't stay very long.

At this particular meet there was a good selection of machines, ranging from an immaculate Sport 1100 to a well-used, 71,000-mile California III, a 42,000-mile 850 T3 California and a 2003 7,000-mile first version of the Breva 750. It was good to see 3 different red Breva 1100's. This model celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and there’s still plenty of these solid and reliable motorcycles on the road.

Saturday 31st May

Thanks to everyone who attended the second Breakfast Meet of the year. There were 18 Moto Guzzis, 1 Buell and 1 Ducati.

It was good to see some new faces and there was a real mixture of Guzzi models ranging from the 1980’s to the present day.

The Buell 1125CR was ridden by Brian from Seaham in County Durham. He’s owned it for 3 months and it’s covered 8,500 miles since new. It looks in excellent condition for its age and with the exception of a now fixed leaking clutch slave cylinder, Brian is very pleased with it.

Together with her husband who was riding a beautiful Ducati Desmo, Jane arrived on her Le Mans 1000 Mark V, which is a model you very rarely see on today’s roads. A total of 2,113 Le Mans MK V were made during 1988/89. The Ducati and Guzzi certainly drew a lot of attention, and they looked well parked together.

Another machine that drew a lot of attention, was an immaculate Vincent. I couldn’t resist taking a few pictures of this rare iconic British V-twin.

Saturday 28th June

Thanks to everyone who attended the third Breakfast Meet of the year. There were 17 Moto Guzzis, 3 Buells and 1 Ducati. Although there were plenty of other events taking place on the same day, we were very pleased with the turnout.

The two Buell 1125R’s were ridden by Phil and Jack from the North East. Both machines were in excellent condition and show 13,000 miles and 8,000 miles. They also have other Buell models in the family including a Blast.

The Buell XB12Ss Lightning Long has been owned from new by Phil who lives local to the Seaways Café. The Buell is Phil’s only road bike and has been used for touring around Europe in addition to general rides in the UK. Currently showing 82,757 miles, Phil’s plans to take his XB12Ss to 100,000 miles.

As usual, there was a good selection of Moto Guzzi models with a few new people attending. It was good to see for the first time this year Robert and Conal from Scarborough on their black and silver Breva 750’s.

The red and white V85TT E5+ model was ridden by Steve. He’s replaced the standard spoke wheels with cast wheels from the V85TT Strada model. They looked very smart, and they’ll certainly be easier to clean. Steve mentioned that the cast wheels are significantly lighter and reasonably priced at £560 for the pair.
